September 10, 2016: Recharge
There’s a cyclical intuition to recharging. Expend all your energy, all its battery power, then recharge to begin again. Like sleep: one day ends and another begins as the unconscious brain recharges the body. It seems true that life does not provide many do-overs. Second or third chances are more like it – each attempt has the imprint of the previous one or two or three. Recharge to move forward. In a vacuum, a pendulum can go back and forth forever, accomplishing nothing but movement. That which accomplishes, however, must recharge to proceed. The pendulum moves in cycles, but the recharged charge forward in pursuit of something worthy.
